    Hi, Haridas and all batchmates of thefirst ever batch of MES Dombivli.I have fond memories of the School. Did you all know that the school was first known as EPS ie English Primary School at a small place (now Dedhia Niwas?)? When we were in the new premises at Baji Prabhu Chowk in 1970, it was still the same name. As we moved into Pandurangawadi, we became MES. The first interviews for school teachers was conducted at my house and I still remember the first teachers - Deshpande, Cookie, Tutor, Rama, Vijayalakshmi, and the list goes on. Cookie and Tutor were Anglo Indians / East Indians. Boy, those were the days.Now at 51,I wish I could go back to school and relive those fun filled carefree days. Cricket matches played for Re 1 bet!Golas for 5 paise, premium kulfis for 20 paise, matchless cricket balls for Rs.5.Do you need more of that nostalgia? Write back friends - jayakumar.menon@yahoo.com
